Let me preface this by saying I consider myself a bit 'of an audiophile, I am proud of my music and my film sound affected. So, needless to say, I was a bit 'hesitant to buy a home theater-in-a-Box for my girlfriend. But, I did my research and decided on the Panasonic SC-BT730.
The setup is fairly easy. The first thing I did was put the transmitter on the back of the player / receiver, in its nest, then the rear speakers * flop in theirPlaces. The "Tallboy" brings together quite smoothly, and while I was a bit 'full of concern was to tighten the screws holding them together in order. Due to the configuration stay the wireless receiver is sitting next to one of the rear speakers, so that the cable from the speaker barely reaches far ... but to actually achieve.
Then I created the two front speakers and center speaker, in view of the issue of the center speaker, as I did. Although this device is quite clear that my 11 year old girlcould probably have done so.
Finally, I have connected the HDMI cable and antenna, the more quickly and with enthusiasm, ran to the polystyrene plastic, and turn-band scattered on the ground.
I turned on the TV mirrored, to an HDMI input and put out the BluRay ... and we had Blast Off! I was worried about the long-term power, but was relieved that the second time I was running much faster (deactivated with fast start-up). I followed the instructions on the screen slightly(Oops! left the wireless receiver), connect the microphone for automatic calibration of the speakers (buzzzz, buzzzz, buzzzz) and just played with different settings.
After I was happy with my hiring decisions I turned to your favorite FM station by my friend and made sure it came in crystal clear (it was ... the FM) can be programmed and in some other stations ( what kind of input).
20 minutes later we were in constant (I rented the new titans specificallyto test our wonderful new toys) and were immediately immersed in a flow of surround sound and visual quality. Every time something of the past "behind us" and I could hear it again * I smile and brief flash in the middle (or was it too late?) 80, when my father was the first surround sound setup, I've never seen (outside of the theater) and how I was dizzy.
I have the speaker configuration, conversely, if you will, with the "floor" and the surround speakersSatellite Front Speaker. The couch is against the wall and I do not mount the satellites, but as the Tallboy and monitors to be small, and 60W with the same response (120 Hz - 20 kHz) and the same impedance (3ohm) I thought "what the hell" and so far it's working fine. I'll end up playing with their positions and swap around, but until they decide on some speakers, it is more than functional.
The overall sound is excellent. The sub-woofer, of course,not what you would do on, but generates enough to make you feel. The Tallboy, center speaker and surround sound to create a large green ... not metal at all. While there are obviously limits to what a small monitor in a position that has exceeded my expectations. Even after the case of burn-in (playing) time, these speakers sound even better * *.
In short, I was very happy and very satisfied with the great sound of this HTIB offers impressive, and in particularfor the price! ($ 350 to dear ol 'Amazon) I'm a fan of Panasonic, since I can remember, and once again show why.
